Samantha is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University and her Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Samantha is passionate about creating a safe and supportive space where clients can find healing, empowerment, and growth. She is committed to helping children, teens, and adults build stronger connections, develop resilience, and move toward holistic wellness.
She provides therapy for children ages 3+, adolescents, adults, and families. Her specialties include play therapy, parent-child relationships, and individual counseling for teens and adults. Samantha has specialized training in Play Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). She also incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Experiential Therapy, and Family Systems approaches as appropriate to meet client needs. Samantha has experience working with neurodivergent populations and is a Certified Autism-informed Professional. For clients who desire it, Samantha is glad to integrate faith into the counseling process.
